Brothers NW Hounds
Brothersnwhounds, we are breeders located on the Olympic peninsula in sequim WA, we breed pure bred American Basset Hounds, all of our dogs are AKC registered with champion bloodlines, we raise our basset hounds on a 100% natural home made diet with natural supplements, as a result we have never had any health issues with our dogs, our dogs Bullet and Lucy spend their time roaming free during the day on the farm on the Olympic peninsula in Sequim when they are not off on a long walk with the family, our desire is to raise happy healthy and robust puppies that will live and enjoy their full life span without health issues, at Brothersnwhounds we understand that as breeders it is our duty to give our puppies the best possible start in life, and then to make sure we find the best people to take care of and to love them for the rest of their lives.

Bullet
The Stud
Bullet is a very muscular good looking hound dog, he has been described as very regal sometimes, and a grown up puppy at other times, he is very loyal, and stays buy my side nearly all the time when he is bored, and when he's with me up in the mountains he wonder's around me as I walk but he always keeps an eye on me and waits for me to catch up, he is an extremely good tracker, he has never failed to find what he's tracking, he has a definite personality that makes him the best hound dog anyone could hope for, he has a champion bloodline and his conformation is excellent all of which makes him a good choice to use as a stud.
Lucy
The Dam
Lucy is extremely affectionate and has a very loyal heart, she is much more sleepy than Bullet but has her share of energy when it comes to playing ball, she spends her time selecting perfect nap spots in the sequim sunshine, she is a very good mother to her puppies.
Lucy is a much smaller basset then most and her ears do not drag on the ground like some basset hounds. Bullet's ears are much longer, so it makes for a perfect combination for there puppies, she has a good conformation.

Our puppies are always tri colors, brown black and white with different patterns and color configurations, some have one dominate color others have dark eyebrows, some long ears some short, basically all configurations, there's new ones every time, they are very playful and have definite personalitys at a young age.

Of the Basset Hound
We sell to Hunter's as we believe that all dogs are happiest when they have a job to do, especially the one they were created to do, Basset Hounds are so great in my opinion because they are capable of everyones life style, wether it's hunting or being a cuddle buddy, running through the woods leading a hunt or walking slowly down the street with their human friend or playing with the kids in the back yard, they can do it all.
